We are an independent service provider that provides empowerment training and motivational services to help you pursue your organization's mission. For your convenience, we provide on-site training or will assist you with planning an off-site retreat. The following programs serve as the foundation for developing your customized training modules.
DIVA Boot Camp:Self-Empowerment seminars, which focus on the elimination of internal barriers that interfere with goal-oriented & purposeful living. Topics include, but are not limited to, self-esteem building, self-awareness, conflict resolution, stress management, assertiveness vs. aggressiveness. Professional development topics such as interviewing, professional image, social networking and balancing work & family may also be included.
Servant Leadership Training Academy: Training for the DIVA who is ready to take action in her community. Reveal your individual talents, build resources & develop a strategic plan for using them to engage in personal, civic and service-oriented projects. All of us are called to be leaders, and the future of our communities depends on you.
Rebuilding the Village: Training for service-providers, family members & the community on youth issues, effective parenting skills & how to develop initiatives to increase generational unity. Includes brainstorming sessions on developing mentoring and family support programs for the young women and single parent families you desire to serve.
Consulting: TDI trainers work with your organization to plan & implement programs serving the needs of young adults & the single mother based on current statistical trends, social climate and historical analysis. TDI is also available to provide sensitivity training to prepare your staff for delivering effective customer service.
Motivational Speaking & Professional Coaching: Our President & Founder, Michele’ E. Lawlis, is available for speaking engagements, as well as professional group coaching sessions. She is a featured speaker of the Professional Woman Network Speakers Bureau (http://www.protrain.net/lawlis.htm), and appointed member of the PWN International Advisory Board. Her self disclosure & emphasis on "keeping it real" make her a highly sought after trainer & motivational speaker for young women, single mothers and anyone who is ready for purposeful living.
Publications: Ms. Lawlis is co-author of “Beyond the Body! Developing Inner Beauty.” She is also a featured author in upcoming releases Learning to Love Yourself: A Handbook for African American Women and Raising African American Boys, both scheduled for release in 2009.
